1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Restaurant Journey, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. The Platform

Restaurant Journey is a platform for restaurant entrepreneurs and suppliers in the United States. We provide a personalized roadmap (Journey) for opening a restaurant and a marketplace for vetted suppliers.

3. Accounts & Roles

Each phone number is bound to a single role for life: client_owner (restaurant owner) or supplier. The first registration determines the role. We do not allow switching roles on the same phone number.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. Suppliers pay $20 per profile for verification (one-time) and pay for Quote Packs to unlock leads. Owners do not pay for the Journey or for publishing requests.

5. Quotes & Refunds

Quote credits never expire. In v1.0 quotes are non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, refund or credit accounts in case of technical failures.

6. Verification

We manually review verification submissions within 48 hours. We may reject verification with reason; in that case the supplier may resubmit after addressing the issues. The $20 fee is non-refundable.

7. Marketplace Liability

Restaurant Journey is a marketplace and does not provide construction, professional, legal, or contracting services. Hiring decisions and contracts are between owner and supplier. We are not liable for the quality of work performed by suppliers or for delays.

8. Documents & OCR

We process documents you upload using Google Cloud Vision to extract expiration dates and provide reminders. We do not share your documents with suppliers unless you grant access (e.g., when you hire a supplier as advisor for a Journey task).

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the platform for fraud, spam, illegal activity, or to circumvent quote payments. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
